A bad Throwback Thursday decision, a Canadian snow mullet and a Valentine’s Day mess.

Welcome to the fourth edition of The Best Picture I Saw This Week. The winners…

Second runner up: #tbt

This is a screengrab from FOX 13 in Tampa yesterday. I wish I knew the context because, on its own, it makes zero sense. I’m not sure why they were talking about 9/11 on Thursday, February 19th. I’m REALLY not sure why they included it as part of their “Throwback Thursday” segment (which, theoretically, should be about pointless nostalgia not tragic nostalgia). It’s just a total loss all around.

First runner up: Canadian snow

Sure, it’s cold in most of the U.S. right now, but Canada is in such a different league. This is a photo from St. John, New Brunswick, Canada, where a guy dug out the front, back, and sides of his car — but not the top. It’s like an inverted snow mullet.

The winner!

1-800-Flowers had a bit of a PR disaster on Valentine’s Day; tons of people flooded their Facebook and Twitter with photos of wilted flowers, botched deliveries, melted chocolates and generally mediocre arrangements. This one was the best. A guy named Mark Kane from Sterling, Virginia, posted this side-by-side comparison of the lion-based flower arrangement he ordered and the poor mutation he received.
