Accidental sexuality on crackers, accidental sexuality during a band performance and accidental conformity in a non-conformity exercise.
Spent a lot of the week in the hospital (more on that to come), but still spent enough time on the Internet to see some great pictures. Here is the Best Picture I Saw This Week…
Second runner up: From a country garden..
Aldi’s grocery stores rolled out a new brand of crackers this week. The slogan reads: “In an English country garden” and has seemingly random letters in the words capitalized. Only when you look at the “random” letters in “country,” you see they’re probably NOT random picks. (And since it’s an aesthetically awful look, I’m guessing it was a prank by a graphic designer that accidentally went way too far.) The crackers were recalled.
First runner up: Why would the Jayhawk do such a thing?
Speaking of “accidental” inappropriateness, the above is a picture of Kansas State University’s halftime show from their first game this past weekend. The band wanted to stick it to Kansas (basketball, probably, since Kansas football sticks it to itself) so they had the Kansas Jayhawk being attacked by the Starship Enterprise. Only the Starship Enterprise looks more like male genitalia… and the spot on the Jayhawk it’s attacking is the mouth. The band director said it was a total accident and apologized.
The winner!
Students at Drexel University in Philadelphia all got free t-shirts this week encouraging them to celebrate their individuality. By wearing identical t-shirts, of course.
