The unique and extremely popular [citation needed] authority on pop culture since 2008

I sit down with megavlogger Grace Helbig to run through the best St. Patrick’s Day traditions.

And we’re off! The pilots are over, the web series is on, and this is the first official episode of the 11 Points Countdown. There will be new episodes every Monday from this point until I get killed or they find someone better. (That’s a Starship Troopers reference. I decided over the weekend I need to make more Starship Troopers references.)

In honor of St. Patrick’s Day this weekend, our first episode counts down your votes for the 11 best St. Patrick’s Day traditions. (Voting was a few weeks ago. New polls for more episodes will be up soon.)

My co-host for this episode is Grace Helbig, the host of the extremely popular web series Daily Grace.

Enjoy! I think you’ll find watching the episodes is a lot like reading the website — only now when you read it, you may hear it through my occasionally high-pitched and nasally voice.

And now, as promised in the video, here are the full results of the voting…

  1. Wearing green
  2. Getting drunk early in the morning
  3. Claiming your Irish heritage even though you’re only a small percentage Irish
  4. Guinness – the real St. Patrick’s Day beer
  5. Watching The Simpsons Prohibition episode
  6. Shamrock Shakes at McDonald’s
  7. Green beer
  8. Irish whiskey
  9. Pinching people who aren’t wearing green
  10. Chicago River dyed green
  11. Corned beef and cabbage
  12. Listening to Irish music and dancing
  13. Singing Irish drinking songs
  14. Smart assing around by talking about how St. Patrick wasn’t actually Irish and his favorite color was blue
  15. Wishing on four-leaf clovers
  16. Going to/being in a parade
  17. Dressing up as a leprechaun
  18. Watching the Leprechaun horror movies (or other St. Patrick’s movies)
  19. Speaking Gaelic
  20. Going to Ireland

I do ask that if you enjoy the video or you really just want to help out someone who works as hard as John Henry the steel drivin’ man, you subscribe to my YouTube channel. I would really, really appreciate it. Thank you!
